Lilly Timmerman was born March 15, 2006 to Scott and Beth Timmerman. She has one older brother, Ben and a labradoodle named Honey. Lilly is a 4.0 student at Mayo High School and will graduate in 2024. Lilly enjoys painting, biking, and playing the piano in her free time. She is considering a career in science and has participated in state and regional science fair from 2018-2020.
Lilly started pre school gymnastics classes at J.E.T.S. Gymnastics at the age of 4. She quickly moved up the compulsory levels and started level 7 in 2018. She placed 3rd on beam with a 9.55, 3rd on floor with a 9.475 and 5th on vault with a 9.25.
In 2019 Lilly competed at the Northern Lights Invitational in MN where she placed 1st on bars with a 9.575. This earned her a spot in the event finals. She also placed 2nd on floor with 9.475. At the level 8 MN State Championship Lilly placed 1st on bars with a 9.65. She placed 3rd on floor with a 9.325 and qualified to the Region 4 Championships. She had a successful meet where she came in 3rd on beam with a 9.35 and 3rd on floor with a 9.45.
In 2020 Lilly competed in her first level 9 season. She quickly qualified for the MN State Championships, however due to COVID-19 pandemic the meet was cancelled.
Lilly is preparing to compete in her first year of level 10 in January. Her debut meet will be at the CGA Invite in Kentucky.
She is currently training at J.E.T.S. Gymnastics under Daniel Nelson. Lilly's long term goal is to compete in college.
